Flight tracking helps coordinate the arrival; tell dispatch directly if a missing bag or another issue delays your readiness after landing.
A university name is not a final address.
For UWindsor, use the residence or department's actual destination. The main university address is 401 Sunset Avenue, while Windsor Hall is at 167 Ferry Street downtown. For move-in, confirm the unloading entrance and who can receive you if arrival is later than planned. Count boxes as well as suitcases when choosing the vehicle.
Treat a YQG flight as a separate connection.
Windsor International Airport is not a city-centre drop-off. If it is your destination, provide the YQG flight and airline deadline along with the DTW arrival. The sequence includes airport exit, Canadian entry and another check-in; availability of a car does not establish that the connection is practical.
Meet your chauffeur after landing.
Your chauffeur meets you at baggage claim with a sign displaying your name, or at another meeting point agreed in your trip communications. Follow the airport and meeting instructions confirmed for your reservation. If your flight is cancelled, we offer free rescheduling. Contact dispatch with the replacement flight details to arrange your new pickup; a changed flight should not be left as an unreported no-show.
Normal crossing included. Traveller holds are different.
The normal border crossing is included. If a traveller-related issue causes a border hold, waiting is charged at USD $2.00 per minute until the traveller is released. This is different from the normal border queue or the airport pickup allowance.
Prepare the correct documents for each passenger and clarify any travel-status questions with the relevant authorities before departure. A transport reservation cannot guarantee entry or release time.

Can my destination be Windsor International Airport?
Yes, enter Windsor International Airport (YQG) as the destination and provide the onward flight details. A DTW-to-YQG connection needs dispatch review of baggage collection, border processing and the next airline’s deadline. Do not use a Windsor hotel address as a substitute airport destination.
What if we have more suitcases than expected when we land?
Tell dispatch before the pickup as soon as the change is known. Include large cases, strollers and other oversized items. A passenger count alone does not establish luggage space, and the vehicle plan may need to change before everyone and their belongings can travel together.
