Documents
Do I need a passport to cross?
Yes. Passport requirements apply for cross-border travel. Each traveller should carry valid documents.
What if one passenger doesn’t have proper documents?
The entire vehicle can be delayed or denied. Confirm documents for all travellers before pickup.
NEXUS
Does NEXUS make crossing faster?
NEXUS can reduce delays when eligible. It does not guarantee zero waiting, but it often improves predictability.
Can we use NEXUS lanes if one traveller doesn’t have NEXUS?
Assume no. All travellers must be eligible to use dedicated lanes. If one person is not eligible, you typically use standard lanes.
Border timing
How much extra time should I plan?
Border times vary by day and hour. For flights, appointments, and meetings, plan buffers rather than best-case assumptions. If the trip is time-critical, call for pickup timing guidance.
Do you choose bridge vs tunnel?
Yes. Drivers select the best option based on conditions and your schedule. The goal is predictable arrival timing.
DTW airport
Do you track flights for DTW pickups?
Yes. Provide airline and flight number. We monitor arrival changes so pickup timing stays aligned.
Is landing time the same as pickup time?
No. Baggage claim, walking time, and airport congestion add time. We plan around this when you share flight details.
Pricing & currency
Are prices in CAD or USD?
Booking tools often display USD. CAD invoices can be provided on request for Canadian travellers and businesses.
What affects the price?
Pickup and drop-off location, time of day, vehicle size, and special requirements (extra stops, waiting time, late-night pickups).

Can I book same-day?
Often yes, depending on availability. Same-day is most reliable when you call to confirm the fastest option.
Can I add stops or change the destination?
Usually yes. Changes may affect timing and price. Call as early as possible to confirm updates.
